Being the parent of a kiddo with food allergies is one of the most stressful positions in the world to be in. I’m not kidding, it really is. I don’t know about you, but I struggle with mass amounts of stress every single day. This journey is hard!

We are constantly modeling how to handle this life for our children, and I want to show my kids that we can do this with grace and peace.

This is the beginning of a series about simple things you can do to help you ‘de-stress’.

Get moving!

There are tons of free workout videos available for FREE at for you to get started! It doesn’t matter where you are in the fitness spectrum, you can find a workout there that will suit you! They even have a free workout plan each month that is absolutely fabulous for those of us that need that kind of structure 🙂

The natural rush of endorphins after you complete your workout will help your body naturally combat the emotional roller coaster that is life with food allergies!

At the moment I’m enjoying Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. I actually purchased it after several months of using free videos from Exercise TV. It’s 20 minutes, in and out, and high intensity. I love it!
