Do you remember or know who makes EpiPens and the EpiPen Jr.? For a quick reminder, it’s Mylan Specialty*. They invited me along with a lovely group of amazing ladies to come up to NYC to talk anaphylaxis prevention and treatment, hear about the latest research in the food allergy world and to hear what new things they are working on. How cool is that? Want to see? You’ll probably recognize several of the faces or names. (If you’re reading this via email you’ll need to click over to see! I’m working on fixing that by the way)
Do you recognize any of the faces? I’m standing in between the lovely Cybele Pascal from CybelPascal.com and Elizabeth DiBurro from Easy Breezy Life. How cool is that? That grin on my face was plastered there for, I kid you not, about 48 hours. Maybe longer.
I was so very starstruck to be among this group of bloggers. It’s amazing to be in a group that just ‘gets it’. They live the life we live. Maybe not as extreme but the camaraderie is still the very same. We all are warriors fighting to give our kiddos equal opportunity and to keep them safe.
We talked about all sorts of things that I can’t wait to share with you. I don’t want to overwhelm and make this post overly long so this will serve as a sort of table of contents so that you can have one place to come to and see everything laid out. We’ll be talking all sorts of cool EpiPen news, interesting research in the food allergy community, and I’ll share info about the awesome organizations that came and shared their stories and what they do. Oh I can’t wait to get started!!!! It’s going to be awesome.
Do you have any questions you’d like me to address off the top of your head? I’m all ears! Leave your questions in the comments below and I’ll answer whatever you’ve got
